Our grounds services can be tailor made to suit any specific needs you may have.

Our regular specification consists of striping formal lawns using a rotary roller mower leaving a striped finish that will leave your lawn looking like a bowling green. Our ride on machinery can also leave a nice striped finish when the area is too large for a pedestrian mower. Our grass trimmers take care of the edges and leave a neat finish. It really is all about attention to detail here at Belair. 

 

Weed control and border maintenance is carried out on every visit. We hand weed our flower beds, hoe the soil and use a half moon to throw the soil back to really gain definition on where your borders start and finish.

Hedge and shrub maintenance is performed by our operatives with pride in their work leaving your hedges and shrubs perfectly shaped during the growing season. Our trained staff also know the right times to cut shrubs to promote the best growth possible leaving them to flower and still stay in shape. Our hedge cutters are the best on the market and are kept sharp at all times to avoid ‘hacking’ of hedges and shrubs. 

We sweep kerb edges and car parks on every visit, regular maintenance of car parks is essential to keep your site looking clean and tidy. Regular sweeping can also help the amount of weeds around your kerb edges etc. We use a stiff brush for sweeping cigarette ends that can leave your car parks looking untidy. We also use industrial vacuuming machines and road sweepers on larger areas. 

All our sites are litter picked on every visit. Built up litter can make your site look uncared for and also attract rodents. We make sure that all litter is picked up and disposed of in a refuse sack. This can be disposed of off-site and placed in our large skip at the yard. We recycle where possible.

To get your site looking fantastic consistent weed management must be carried out. We use a ‘sealer’ that can be used on any hard standing and can keep weeds down for months. This is real finisher and really aids in providing the best possible finish. 

Spraying of hard surfaces is included in our regular maintenance schedule and carried out by NPTC (PA1 & PA6)  trained operatives. We only use environmentally friendly weed killers that aren’t harmful to humans or wildlife. Our weed killers are also dry within an hour.   

We offer moss control in our schedules keeping your surfaces slip free, we use the best chemicals to loosen the moss and then use our mechanical rotary brush to finish. This is especially useful on pathways and car parks.
